The R1 is designed to be ultra-lightweight, with the R1 model weighing approximately 29kg. Despite its size, it features 20-26 Degrees of Freedom (DOF), allowing it to perform complex movements and adapt to various scenarios. Its 2-DOF head enhances perception, and its compact form factor makes it ideal for indoor environments and educational settings.
The R1 is an intelligent agent, integrated with a Large Multimodal Model for voice and image processing. This allows for advanced interaction and decision-making, positioning the R1 as an ideal platform for developing next-generation AI applications and personal assistants.
The R1 is highly focused on development and research. It offers fully open control interfaces for all joints and sensors, supporting mainstream simulation platforms. The R1 EDU model provides an optional NVIDIA Jetson Orin computing core, offering up to 100 TOPS of processing power for advanced custom applications.
The R1 (EDU) is equipped with a Binocular Camera for sensing and has an arm capable of carrying a 2kg load. Its battery provides approximately 1 hour of endurance, making it suitable for focused development and demonstration sessions.
